Look At Me Guys

Julian is quite the character these days.  He likes to be silly and tries to be jokester.  "Look at me, Mommy!"  Wearing shirts, pajamas and jackets on his head is one of his favorite moves.

Julian calls any kind of belt, a seatbelt.  He puts on Daddy's belts and Mommy's belts.  He uses the girls necklaces or anything he can find around the house to be a "seatbelt".

He has not spent an entire night in his bed in months.  Mostly he tries to get in bed with Mommy.  But he also likes to just hang out too.  Once we found him in the living playing with a halloween pumpkin decoration after he got his own cup of water about 4am.  

Speaking of water, he likes to wash the dishes or play with water.  If left to his own devices for long, the bathroom sink and floor will have puddles.

His shirts and clothes don't stay on all of the time.  He likes show off his muscles.  And sometimes the diapers come off too - watch out!

Julian is quite the back seat driver too.  He likes to tell us when to go or stop at lights.  He knows what green and red lights mean but he hasn't figured out that you can't just run into cars in front of you.  "Go daddy!  Gooooo!!!"  Be careful not to drive by McDonald's because you will be pestered to stop because it is "yummy".  Also, "yummy" is his favorite flavor of muffins.

And still no one can make a mess in a matter of seconds or minutes quite like him.  

Julian is handful but there is never a dull moment - and we love every minute of it.

Watching Baseball

 

I have been watching the Cubs baseball games with Daddy.  I like watching baseball.  They hit the ball and throw the ball.  And sometimes we eat popcorn. I have a baseball bat that I try to play with in the house.

We went to a baseball and watched Kris Bryant.  He is my favorite player.  When Daddy is watching a game I say "I wanna see Kris."

(PS - I don't know why I am wearing Hawaiian shorts.  It must have been laundry day.)

I'm 2 and I'm into everything!

I am a crazy 2 year old boy.  I like to jump on the beds and couches.  But I get in trouble if Mommy or Daddy see me.  I like to take my shirt off and run around in my diaper.  And sometimes I take off my diaper but I get in trouble for that too.

I love climbing on stuff.  I climb on tables and shelves in the house and guess what?  I get in trouble for that too.  I can climb on my playground outside and I don't get in trouble.  But I need help on the monkey bars.

I love to get phones and iPods and Kindles.  Selfie!  I love to pull out all of my toys and make messes.  And I have lots of toys to make messes.  You want to know the best part?  Mommy and Daddy clean it up for me!

And I like cool boy stuff like swords and bats and whatever this thing was on vacation.  I am one messy boy.  Lots of dirty clothes.

But I am so cute that I get away with it.

 

Big Boy Update

Mommy and Daddy ask me if I am a big boy.  I usually say "no, baby" because they want me to do big boy stuff like go pee in the potty and take away my pappies. Well I did start going to bed in my big boy bed with no pappy but I am not about to start going pee on the toilet.

I am doing some other big boy stuff.  I go swimming by myself.  I climb in the kitchen to get marshmallows all by myself.  I put my crocs on by myself.  I like to do everything by myself.  Does that make me a big boy?

Buddy Bat

I went to a baseball game.  I like throwing baseballs and talking about baseball and watching baseball bideos on Daddy's computer.  But my favorite thing about the baseball game was Buddy Bat.  He is big and purple.  He does funny stuff too.  I liked watching him - but not too close.  I didn't want to go by him.  I followed where he was all over the baseball place.  One time I couldn't find Buddy and Daddy told me he must have went to the bathroom.  Buddy had to pee.  But he came back.

Now when Daddy asks "Are you my buddy?"  I say "No.  Buddy Bat."

Firekirks on 4th of July

I got to play with firekirks (how I say fireworks).  I was scared but Mommy let me hold the firekirk. It was going cccrrrrr and it poked me too!  I like watching the big firekirks in the sky.  They go boom and pow!  We had a party at Aunt Diane's house.  I played with another boy's (Holland) baseball bat and ate some hot dogs too.  And I had some light up necklaces.  You could see me in the dark.  Yeah...
