Walk This Way

I took my first steps tonight.  Mommy and Daddy have been wanting me to do this for a while but as all babies are we do things in our own time.  Mommy thought I would be an early walker because I pulled up and started cruising around things so early.  I am still not steady on my feet but I made my way from mommy to daddy and daddy to mommy. They were so excited that they started calling everyone and doing face time so that they could see me do it. They called Gram and Papi, Tia Adrienne, and Aunt Sissy and Uncle Steven. Everyone was so excited for me. I think that this is going to open so many doors for me and I will be able to get into everything and get around everywhere.

Riding Around

I recently discovered that I like to ride around on Luci’s scooter.  It is so much fun.  I get on and Daddy pushes me around.  He makes me hold onto the handlebars and then I put my feet on the board and he pushes.  It is so much fun.  Luci doesn't always like it when I ride because she wants to ride, but she is usually a very loving and giving big sister and she  will let me have a turn.  She really loves me so much and would let me get away with anything.  Riley loves me too, but I don’t think she is going to let me ride her bike yet.   

Easter

We all got together today for Easter.  The day started at our house with an Easter Egg Hunt.  I actually got to hunt the eggs this year.  Last year I was way to little, only a few weeks old.  This year I was able to look for eggs just like the girls.  They found a lot more than I did, but I still liked doing it.  I liked picking up the eggs and putting them in my mouth.  The girls got to dye the eggs, but I didn't get to do that, maybe I can do that next year.  After the hunt we went to church.  Then we went to eat at Gram's house and had another egg hunt.  This time Landon was there to hunt too.  I like to have holidays because I get to get together with my family and see everyone.  Sometimes I see the Ferree side and sometimes I see they Yanez side.  It doesn't matter which side I get to see everyone loves seeing me!

Going to the Zoo

We went to the zoo today.  It was a lot of fun.  I have not been there since I was just a little baby.  I got to see lots of animals.  I saw elephants, tigers, lions, zebra, giraffes, seals, polar bears, and a lot more.  We took the wagon so that we could ride and did not have to walk.  Sometimes Riley would ride with me and sometimes Luci would ride with me, but I got to ride all of the time.  The zoo is a really big place.  I saw a lot of enormous bugs!  I don’t know if they were real or not, I hope not because Riley and Luciana were just walking right up to them and they did not attacking them! I got to ride on the carousel too! I rode on the tiger with Mommy. It did not go up and down, it just stayed put and that was okay with me. I am glad that we went to the zoo and I hope that we go again soon.  

Uh Oh!!

Recently I started saying Uh Oh when I drop stuff.  Everyone thinks that it is so cute.   Riley likes to get me to do it.  She will drop things on purpose just so I will say it.  She doesn’t think that I know she is doing that, but I do.  I still say it for her because everyone likes it and I like making everyone laugh.  

Standing Tall

I stood today by myself for about one minute.  Mommy and I were doing my laundry and I decided to just stand there while I was sorting it.  I was putting all the socks in the baskets.  Mommy was looking at all the tags to sort hot and cold.  I can’t read yet so that had to be her job.  I have done some standing before, but not for very long.  Mommy was really excited but she didn't have her camera to catch the moment, maybe next time.  Mommy and Daddy really hope I start walking soon, I think they may change their minds once I really do start.  

1st Birthday Party

 

I had my birthday party today.  I didn't know what you do on birthday parties.  I never had one before.  Well, Mommy makes you a shirt with the number 1.  Then a bunch of people come to your house.  Some people I know like Gram and Grandma and Landon.  Some people I don't know.  They all liked me wearing this hat though.  

Then you get to eat a cake.  Mommy made the cake too.  She makes everything.  What a Mommy!  I never had cake before.  Well, one time I think Poppy gave me some cake when Mommy wasn't looking.  But that was it. It was good.  Yummmmy.

There were lots of kids to help me open presents.  I didn't care too much because I liked playing with the cards and the bags.  The kids were excited for my presents though.  There were toys and clothes.  I like getting boy toys like trucks and airplanes.  My sisters have lots toys like dolls but no good trucks or cars.
