All I Want For January is My Two Front Teeth!

My two front teeth are starting to come in.   Mommy is worried that I will start biting people now.  I don’t think that I will do that, it would be mean.  I am just excited about what that might mean for eating.  I think that I may also start to look a little bit more grown up. Daddy is worried about my teeth because they are coming in pretty far apart. I think he should just give me time before he judges me or he can just start saving money now for my braces. Heck that guy has to face it he will probably have to pay for braces for at least 2 out of 3. Luci looks like she may have teeth like Mommy and Riley and I have teeth like him.

10 Months

My first month birthday in the new year and still no walking.  I do have a new interest.  I have started watching some TV.  I kind of like it.  Mommy turns it on a baby channel for me.  Sometimes she does it in the morning, but daddy changes the channel to Mike & Mike because of Luciana.  She needs to get ready in the morning and if one of my shows is on she will get sucked into watching with me.  But when Mike & Mike is on she won't watch and I still really like it.  Daddy and I get our manly bonding time with our sports show.

I am starting to eat more food from the table.  Mommy and Daddy said that I eat better than Luci.  I will pretty much try anything they put in front of me.  Riley says that I am a good eater like her.  I really like puffs and my yogurt bites.  Mommy lets Luci give me some more puffs when I run out.  I really like that because Mommy can't always give me more puffs when I run out and I hate running out.  I let everyone know when I am out of my food because I don't like it.

I am still crawling around every where.  I am moving pretty fast now and I follow everyone around the house.  Mommy closes the bathroom doors because I like to go in there and play.  Sometimes Mommy will say "Come on Julian" and then pat her leg and Daddy says that she needs to stop talking to me like I am a dog.  I don't think that Mommy thinks that I am a dog, but Daddy is kind of right.

I am still not back to sleeping through the night because I am just getting over my third ear infection.  I had one the beginning of November, December, and January.  Mommy and Daddy wish that I would stay in my own bed and stay asleep.  I really don't care because when I wake up I just miss them and I want to be with them, not alone in my bedroom.  I mean seriously why would I want to be alone?

I wonder what changes next month will bring.  Will I be walking?  

Who Needs A Walker?

I have found this really great new toy!  It is a laundry basket.  The girls like to push me around in the laundry basket.  It is so much fun!  I just laugh and laugh.  Today I found a new way to play with it all by myself.  I like to push it around and walk behind it.  Daddy doesn't need to spend any of his hard earned money on any of those walkers at the store because I just love the one I already have, the laundry basket.  It is just as good as those store walkers too because I can ride in it too.  Those girls really know how to entertain me, we all really are the best of friends.

Feeding Luciana

People are always trying to feed me.  I am starting to feed myself a little bit.  I really like these things that they call puffs.  They come in a few different flavors.  My favorite is blueberry, but they also have banana, apple, sweet potato, and mango.  My Mommy and Daddy feed me some food from jars and Riley even gets in on that action sometimes.  Riley does a good job of feeding me, but really I think it is because I am such a good eater.  Mommy says that I am so neat and that I don’t get food all over my face.  I open my mouth really wide so that they can get the food in and a lot of it.  

Today I did something really great.  I took care of Luciana.  She is always taking care of me and making sure that I am happy.  Today I fed her her fruit.  She is a very distracted eater and she is always getting up and not just sitting down and eating.  Mommy is always saying she is going to buckle her into a high chair.  So today while she was running around during lunch time I fed her her fruit.  Mommy would put it on the fork and I would hold it for her to take a bite.  We had a lot of fun doing that.  I wonder if she will let me feed her again?  I wonder when I can totally feed myself?

Happy New Year!!

I brought in my New Year asleep.  Isn’t that the way you are supposed to do it?  Well all I know is that I need a nap before I can get my party on.  I think they should wait to do New Year’s parties until after 2:00 am. at the earliest.  I am really in party mode about 3:00 am. Oh well Mommy and I got up and celebrated together even if everyone else was asleep.

Merry Christmas

Today is my first Christmas and I think it was a pretty good Christmas.  I got to open presents this morning with my sisters.  I really wasn't too interested in the opening of the presents, but I did like what was inside.  I got this really cool car that drives itself and has a little driver that when I shake it the car will come to me.  I also got a race car with a driver named Riley and a van.  Those cars talk to me too.  I like to push the little cars around while I crawl around the house.

We also went over to Gram's House to visit with everyone and to open more presents.  I got some new clothes and some more toys.  The best part was playing with my sisters and my cousin Landon.  Tyler was also there.  We ate brunch and then hung out there all day.  Everyone still likes to hold me and to take pictures of me.  Mommy says that Christmas is all about being with family and spending time together and that presents are just a bonus.  I think that the girls really like the presents part the best and one day I think I will too.  I mean don't get me wrong I love my family, but toys are so much fun.

Sign Language

I have started to watch some really great videos and they are just for me, but it seems that the girls really like to watch them too.  They are called Baby Einsteins.  They show me all kinds of animals, and puppets and they play all kinds of songs.  They really hold my attention.  One of the videos shows me all about animals.  It has all kinds of animal: farm animals, jungle animals, animals at my house, and even more.  One of the videos is teaching me sign language so that I can talk to everyone without even having to say a word.  I like to have my voice heard though so I still use it a lot.  The sign that I use now is “more”.  I like it because it is so much like clapping.  In fact Daddy says that I look like I am clapping, but I can see a real difference between my clapping and me trying to tell them I want more puffs.
