Back Molars

I went to the doctor today and she had a new discovery for Mommy.  I am getting my back molars.  I mean that is really big boy stuff.  Mommy says she is happy because it will help me chew all of that food that I want to stick in my mouth.  I really like to eat a lot.  If someone would let me I think I would eat all day long and if someone else is eating then I should be too.  Daddy is happy that I will pretty much eat anything they put in front of me.  They say I am just like Riley in that way.  They can't really say I have any favorite foods because I pretty much eat anything.  The only thing Mommy has discovered that I won't eat is potato salad.  Mommy loves the stuff, but Daddy says he doesn't blame me.

So at the doctor's office today I measured 30.25" (15%), my weight was 23.8lbs (60%) and my head circumference was in the 80th%.  I am a growing boy just not growing very tall right now.  Dr. Howell says that she wants me to work on my  talking.  She says when I come back I  need to be saying 3 - 6 words besides Mommy and Daddy.  That is going to take some work considering I call everything ma ma and da da.  Riley and Luci better zip it up and let me get some words in!

Happy Father's Day

Today is a big day for my Daddy, it is Father's Day.  Today we get to celebrate him being a Daddy.  Riley made him a Daddy, but I made him the Daddy of a boy.  We can do father/son stuff because of me.  When we woke up this morning Daddy came and got me out of bed and I gave him his first present, a dirty diaper. Ha Ha!!  No really we got Daddy a new diaper bag for me.  How is that a present for him?  I'll tell you how because it looks like a boys and Daddy doesn't have to carry around a girly bag any more.  Did you know that one time when he was coming in Quizno's Mommy heard one of the worker girls say do you see that bag that man is carrying?  That is funny that she thought it was his bag.  Well now he does not have to worry about that anymore.  We also got him a Surface 2.  I hope he lets me play on it sometime.

We went to Gram's house for a Father's Day breakfast.  There was a lot of food and it was good!  Gram had everyone over.  Now that we have baby Rowan there are a lot of fathers: Papi, Grandpa, Daddy, Uncle Kevin, and Uncle Steven.  I wonder if Uncle Tim will ever be a daddy to any people, he is already a Daddy to cats.  After we ate we hung around for a little bit and then we were off to see the horses.

Daddy got tickets from work to go to Churchill Downs for Father's Day.  We had fun looking at all of the horses and watching them race.  I think that Grandpa really liked to pick out the horses to see if he could get the winner.  We went down to the track level for the last race and got to see the horses up close.  I really liked that.  I hope that Daddy and Grandpa had a good Father's Day at the track.

Visiting Gram and Papi

We spent the day with Gram and Papi.  We had a lot of fun at their house.  We laughed a lot and acted silly.  I was having so much fun I would not take a nap.  Mommy did not like that because she was tired and she wanted to take a nap.  I just kept being silly and walking around in circles, then I would fall down on purpose.  It was silly but fun to me.  Later we went to an older cousin’s graduation party.  It was for Abby.  I had to get my energy back so I took a nap on the way there.  The girls had a lot of fun the in bouncy house, but when Papi tried to take me down there I did not like it.  However, I did like the food very much.  I ate macaroni and cheese, baked beans, watermelon, and of course cake.  Mommy says that I am like Riley and that I am a good eater.  Luci won’t even eat half of the food that I eat.  She is just picky.  Mommy and Daddy are happy that I am like Riley.  There were a lot of people there and I didn't know that many people, but a lot of them kept saying hi to me like I should know who they are.   It is a good thing I can’t talk yet so that they don’t expect me to remember their names.

Mr. Clean, Mr. Clean

I like to help mommy and Daddy clean the house.  I think that it is fun to pick things up and put them away.  Last night I got out the broom and started to clean the floor.  I am not so hot at it, but I do my best.  I also like to help by throwing things away.  Mommy was getting my dinner ready and she took off the cardboard covering and I threw it away in the trash can for her.  I am such a helpful guy.
